Q: “Michael what were your professional experiences before United?”
A: “As a teenager, I worked in the accounts department of my uncle’s [travel] business, before spending many years in Public Practice. Eventually, I took a position with Fortis Intertrust.”
Q: “Why did you choose to work for United?”
A: “I wanted something that was a continuation of the better parts of where I was before. Obviously, you want security, you want challenges, you want to be proud working for the company—you want to follow the ethical values.”
Q: “You have a reputation as a musician. What instruments do you play?”
A: “The Greek mandolin (mandolino) and the bouzouki. The violin, guitar, and the piano."
Q: “What would you say music and accounting have in common?”
A: “The need for balance and precision!”
