Q: “You co-founded the Intertrust Group, which was bought by Fortis Intertrust in 2002. Having already had that success, why did you form United in 2007?”
A:  “I decided that I would have to do this again, go through the process again of setting up [my] own management and trust company.”

Q:  “You’ve been in the financial-services business for almost 30 years. How would you advise buyers of financial services?”
A:  “You have to be aware that if you are making use of the services in this industry, you have to know what they [the providers] are doing. You have to demand…that they explain what they are doing, how they are doing it."

Q: “What would you like to tell financial-services providers?”
A:  “It’s about your group, the sustainability of your services, satisfaction of your clients, the trustworthiness and the highest integrity—of your entire group, not of one individual alone; you’re not a boxer alone in a ring!”

Q: “What is your point of view in a nutshell?”
A:  “My business aim and character is very simple: eight days a week, 24 hours [a day], trying to keep your customer content to the highest level.”
