Q: “Gérard, can you describe one of your career milestones?”
A: “Definitely. I was the Managing Director of Intertrust (Luxembourg) SA, where I helped build the Luxembourg office from scratch. Fortunately, it already was a very international trust group. The business was later sold to Fortis.”
Q: “What other professional experiences have you had?”
A: “I was with KPMG Financial Engineering as a Partner, MeesPierson Intertrust/Fortis Intertrust as member of management and later as Managing Director.”
Q: “What about your educational background?”
A: “I have a master’s degree in Applied and Social Psychology from the University of Salzburg, Austria, as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration (with a specialisation in Finance and Marketing) from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, USA.”
Q: “Gérard, what about life outside of United?”
A: “I’m a member of the Kräizbierg Foundation’s Board of Directors, for example. This is the country’s leading organisation for the disabled; we help support people financially and socially.”
Q: “How would you describe your business goal?”
A: “To gather around me whoever I consider to be the finest and most professional people I can imagine in this profession!”
